I've mended another thing!
Yanked out the old broken hood release cable and snaked the new one in. Clips? We don't need no stinking clips! Seriously there was no way I'd be able to get my hands in, under, around and between to get the cable clipped in place. Everything in there is holding it stable as is.
Also carparts.com conveniently sent me the wrong latch assembly. So I took my stock one, cleaned it and soaked it in lube and voila - working perfect.
Also someone suggested my green demon eyes looks too much like a stoplight with the other lights on so I've fixed it so the green can run on its own.

Uhh... Its too bright out. So just imagine the ambers are off. Ta-da!

Curious: Does the car have near-white lights for night time driving?

Please tell me you're running those alongside actual legal headlights, right?

Have you checked on the legality of doing that? Not sure how it would hold up in court, but you might want to look into it.

the legality is probably pretty slim but seems rarely enforced around here. We have purple, pink, blue headlights everywhere.
Theses really don't project much light in person. Its more so as if the lens was painted green
